Good ac but costly installation
AC is energy efficient, good cooling effect low sound but when purchased from amazon, we got less warranty (1years comprehensive +5 years on compressor) and pay high installation charges (Rs. 1970/) . When we purchased from store we will get 5+10 years warranty and installation charges is only Rs. 590/ only. I request amazon to kindly see the matter
Nice AC with a few cons
Though this size (1.4 ton) is a bit strange, it is as good as an 1.5 ton AC. Looks are a bit con to this model. However, the effectiveness of the AC is good so far. The following are my observations:
1. There is an LED light in the middle of the front side for indicating the temperature. This is not generally visible in the product images. Temperature setting can range from 16 to 30 degrees, as is the case with most of the ACs.
2. I could see only a nominal rise due to this in power bill. So far there was only some 400 Rs. rise per month after its arrival, though it is used for around 10 hours a day. The savings may be due to the inverter component of this AC.
3. The indoor unit has 3 levels of fan speed: low, medium and high. The 'high' speed setting is a little bit noisy compared to other two. However, it doesn't matter much.
4. The vertical swing doesn't cover all the possible angles. Covers only 50% of the possibility. This is a poor design.
5. Installation: The installation was the worst part. Though it is mentioned that standard AC installation cost is Rs. 1500 in Amazon, it was Rs. 2000+ 18% GST+Tips for the installation guys= Rs. 2500. They said Rs. 2000 instead of 1500 was because of the inverter model. The Voltas guys were not responsive to the Amazon's automatic request for the installation after the products gets delivered. I had to follow up the Voltas customer care repeatedly. By the way, the local vendors of AC provide a free and hassle-free installation.
6. Remote is a bit disappointment. They gave a very large and bulky remote. But it works okay.

BEST QUALITY AC
The title 68 YEARS OF JAPANESE LEGACY ….is very much true. I am very happy with this energy efficient Sanyo AC installed in my 250 sq.feet bedroom. Quality is at par with other big brand ACs But price wise this is far better than other brands. Why to spend about 35 % more money for other brands? Technology wise this is a proven Ac.
Review after one year of usage
it Is more than one year since we installed this air conditioner. We had not cleaned the filters since it was installed and so the ac had become noisy and cooling was reduced. The service technician showed us the clogged filters and also informed that due to this the compressor was working overtime leading to R32 gas reduction. The gas pressure was 50psi as against the normal 140psi. So he topped it up and it cost us Rs 1700 including technician service charges. The filter needs to be cleaned every two months to avoid this. The ac works great now and cools efficiently.
